Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs)

Several of our courses are recognised and accredited by professional, statutory and regulatory bodies (PSRBs).  Students may be eligible to apply for exemptions from specific PSRB requirements, subject to achieving the required pass grade for a range of modules which are offered as part of our courses. Full details of accredited courses and those modules which may be used to seek PSRB exemption are detailed on our online course pages and in our course handbooks.

We work closely with several PSRBs in order to gain valuable input from them and to ensure our courses meet their requirements. Representatives of PSRBs regularly sit on approval panels for new courses (see further design, development and approval of our courses) and on panels that review our existing courses (see further periodic review of our courses section).

Our students are able to benefit from guest speaker opportunities involving PSRB representatives (see above Guest speakers and visiting academics). In addition, students on courses such as the BSc Accounting and Finance are offered free professional body student membership to provide them with opportunities to engage and connect with professionals working in their chosen fields.
