Accelerated degrees

You can qualify quicker at Bloomsbury Institute.

What is the difference between accelerated and traditional programmes?

Year 1 2 modules in 2 terms
Year 2 2 modules in 2 terms
Year 3 2 modules in 2 terms

Traditionally, undergraduate degrees take place over three years. You will study two modules per term and take two terms per year with an extended summer break between the years.

What is an accelerated degree?

Today’s job market is competitive, and many people aspire to earn a degree to enhance their career prospects, develop essential skills, and gain a deeper understanding of their chosen profession. A traditional degree can be time-consuming and expensive however, not everyone can afford to pause their career for three whole years in  order to focus on studies. This is where Bloomsbury Institute’s accelerated degrees come into play. You can fast-track your career in the heart of one of the world’s major legal, financial and business hubs. Our accelerated courses allow you to tap into the city’s vast professional network, gain real-world insights, and establish valuable connections.

Accelerated degrees are an alternative to traditional undergraduate programmes. They are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in a shorter timeframe. Our 2-year accelerated degrees typically condense the coursework into a rigorous, immersive experience, allowing students to earn their degrees faster and enter the job market sooner.

Benefits of accelerated degrees at Bloomsbury Institute

Time efficiency

The primary advantage of accelerated courses is the time saved. Most traditional undergraduate degrees take three to four years to complete, while accelerated courses can be completed in as little as two years.

Reduced costs

Completing a degree in a shorter timeframe also means reduced tuition fees and living expenses. While our accelerated courses have a slightly higher upfront cost, due to the intensive nature of the coursework, the overall cost of the education is lower when compared to traditional routes.

Enhanced focus

Accelerated courses demand a high level of commitment and self-discipline. This intensity helps you stay focused on your studies, leading to a deeper understanding of the subject matter and improved time management skills.

Real-world experience

Our proximity to numerous businesses and organisations allows accelerated degree students to engage in internships, part-time work and networking opportunities, enhancing their practical knowledge and employability.

Career advancement

Graduates of our accelerated courses often find themselves at a competitive advantage in the job market. They can apply for higher-level positions and take advantage of opportunities for career progression sooner than their peers in traditional programs.

Accelerated courses we offer

Our accelerated undergraduate courses are available in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, and Law. We condense the coursework of a typical 3-year bachelor’s degree into 2 years. Like students pursuing our 3-year courses, you will benefit from the exemptions given to all undergraduates by the professional bodies we are affiliated to such as the ACCA, CIMA and CILEx.
