Roles and responsibilities

Our Corporate and Academic Governance Framework sets out the committee structures we have devised to safeguard and enhance academic standards, and the approval stages through which our Annual Course Evaluation Reports (ACERs) and our Annual Monitoring and Evaluation Reports (AMERs) need to pass.  The approval process involves a double layer of scrutiny in that the reports are first recommended for approval by our Course Committees and then approved by our Quality Assurance and Enhancement Committee.  Both committees comprise students, academic staff and professional services staff.  In addition, the reports are submitted to our Academic Committee and Board of Directors for information.
