Disability

If a student lives with a disability or long-term medical condition, they need to know that these are not barriers to success at the Bloomsbury Institute. We are committed to providing a level playing field for all students, building an inclusive academic community which empowers everyone to study as independently as possible during their time with us.  Specially trained staff are here to advise and support students so that they can get the most out of their time here.

We work with students to agree any adjustments that might be required (including exam arrangements) and liaise with academic departments to ensure a student’s needs are met. We also rely on students with disabilities and long-term medical conditions to work with us in identifying areas that need improvement in order to build the most inclusive academic community possible.

Students can make an appointment with the Disability & Wellbeing Advisor by emailing disability@bil.ac.uk.
