Our Student Representatives play an important role in the life of our Institute by providing feedback on course delivery and by representing the views of other students on several important committees.
By signing up to be a Student Representative, you can develop leadership and also transferable skills such as team work, and self-management, which are incredibly valued in the workplace.
Every year Bloomsbury Institute works with the Student Guild to train newly selected Peer Advisors to provide a virtual and onsite Peer Advice Service.
This friendly and supportive service includes sharing important information, helping with Bloomsbury Institute systems access/usage, and signposting where applicable.
Being a Peer Advisor really contributes to a great student experience and is a great way to improve your communication and organisation skills.
Peer Assisted Learning (PAL)
Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) is an internationally recognised scheme based around peer teaching.
Each year we train students to lead online study sessions outside of classes, for students studying in the year below themselves, to help them master the material they study during lectures, workshops and seminars.
Becoming one of our trained students, and leading a study session, is an excellent way for you to develop graduate employability skills such as group working, autonomy, communication and problem-solving.
