Bloomsbury Radio is launching Monday 20 April!

Friday 17th April 2020

Bloomsbury Radio logoWe’re very excited to announce that our very first in-house radio station, Bloomsbury Radio, is launching Monday 20 April.

For the past couple of months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to create a fun and accessible way to keep you up-to-date and informed about issues and subjects that matter to you.

Now more than ever before, it’s vital we all stay in touch outside of the classroom and keep connected with the outside world.

We hope that you’ll not only find Bloomsbury Radio an informative and valuable channel of communication, but we also hope it will act as a fun and entertaining distraction from the challenges we’re all facing at the moment.

Broadcasting from our home in the heart of Bloomsbury, we’ll be playing a mixture of music and chat around the clock with news updates every hour.

Every Monday at 11am, our Director of Access and Graduate Outcomes will broadcast Bloomsbury Radio’s first live show called the Weekly Update.

The Weekly Update has been created specifically for you, to keep you in the loop about the coronavirus situation and the effect it will have on your studies and day-to-day life. Don’t worry if you miss the live show – we’ll be repeating it every morning at 11am and every evening straight after the 6 o’clock news.

As life under quarantine continues for many of us, we’ll be looking at developing and expanding Bloomsbury Radio programming. Expect more shows about topics that are important to you, whether that’s related to your studies or interests outside of your degree.

Bloomsbury Radio will be available online and free for all to listen to – head to the page on Monday to listen live.
