What initially stood out to you about Bloomsbury Institute compared to other universities?

I chose London because I wanted a change of scenery. Bloomsbury itself brought me closer to London because I wanted to study law efficiently and its unique program and curriculum interested me.

I also liked how they focused more on practical legal skills and hands on experience. The diversity an inclusivity made me feel safe and comfortable as they would be able to navigate and support students of different cultures and backgrounds. and their reputation for academic excellence stood out to me.

Can you describe a moment or experience during your studies that had a real impact on you?

I would have to say becoming a part of the student guild has really made an impact on my experience. It has opened to door to so many opportunities for me like becoming activities officer or showing up on the Bloomsbury radio. Working at the student guild as a peer advisor and now activities officer gave me the passion to provide support for students like me. I’ve realized that even small events can make a big difference in helping people feel like they belong.

How have your lecturers or support teams contributed to your academic or personal development?

My Lectures have been efficient, communicative, and supportive with my studies. My lecturers have encouraged me to go beyond learning the law and have helped me think critically about how legal principles including how they apply in practice.

I’ve also benefited from wider university support, including taking part in a business development programme, which complemented my academic learning by helping me build confidence, communication skills, and a more professional mindset.

Alongside this, the workshops have and seminars have made me more comfortable in contributing to discussions and expressing my ideas clearly.

In what ways has studying here prepared you for your next step — whether that’s employment, promotion, or further study?

Studying here has truly boosted my confidence and ability to network. From speaking up in class, or speaking during inductions, these scenarios have truly helped me to get over my fear of being perceived and have helped me find my own voice.

The various opportunities Bloomsbury provides, including their student led events, clubs and societies, where students can connect and network outside of their classes. As for their learning environment Bloomsbury offers many spaces, workshops, and enhancement programs where student can grow and excel academically.
