How are you feeling? We can all use a breather now and then, and it’s always good to have a check-in on our mental wellbeing. Every term, our Wellbeing Workshops discuss the latest coping strategies, self-care and mental best practices to help you be your best self.
Tuesday 27th February 2024
Wellbeing Workshops take place on Mondays, 1pm – 2pm in Room 204 at Euston Road. There is no need to book in advance and you can view the focus of each session below. Remember, you can always speak to SEWS if you have any specific wellbeing issue that you would like to discuss.

26 February 2024 | Understanding Motivation Motivation comes in many forms. For example, did you know that you can be strongly motivated not to perform a task or to set goals? This session led by Sarah Bailey, Director of SEWS, will introduce you to the many types of motivation and to theories which will help you align your goals with your implicit motives. |
4 March 2024 | Unlock Your Inner Resilience! Build resilience and thrive in adversity! Join our workshop to cultivate practical strategies for bouncing back stronger in the face of challenges. |
11 March 2024 | Shop on a Budget Shopping on a budget – But who says grocery shopping has to be a hassle when you’re on a budget? The good news is that you don’t have to give up your favorite foods. You can eat delicious, balanced, and healthy meals that you and your entire family enjoy with a little ahead planning and creativity. |
18 March 2024 | Look After Your Money Join our workshop to gain practical insights into budgeting, saving, and smart financial decision-making. Equip yourself with essential money management skills that will empower you to navigate the complexities of personal finance, setting a strong foundation for a secure and prosperous future. |
25 March 2024 | Boost Your Mood Join a fun workshop where you’ll learn simple tricks to stay positive and handle challenges better. We’ll do cool activities and talk about things like being happy, thinking positive thoughts, staying strong, understanding feelings, setting goals, and doing good stuff for yourself.
