Bloomsbury Institute is proud to announce that we have been awarded an overall rating of Bronze by the Teaching and Excellence Framework (TEF).
Our Bronze overall rating consists of:
- Silver rating for Student Experience 🥈
- Bronze rating for Student Outcomes. 🥉
What is TEF?
TEF is an annual exercise run by the Office for Students (OfS) which aims to assess excellence in teaching standards within higher education providers. TEF focuses on undergraduate students only and assesses students’ outcomes from Higher Education for students in terms of employment or further study.
How does the assessment work?
The TEF panel considers evidence submitted from the provider, and from the student, alongside quantitative data. Our students’ submissions were in the form of a radio programme, with a transcript.
They make efforts to design and schedule education to be accessible for everyone.
The full report will be published in November, but these initial findings come hot on the back of our equally excellent NSS results, where we ranked 1st for Law in London, 2nd in the UK for student positivity, and 3rd in England for our Business degree. This is yet another example of the success of our long-term strategy, focusing on building a community and culture that celebrates success and enables all of us to flourish together.
