What is the National Student Survey?

The National Student Survey is an independent, widely recognised survey completed every year by final year students. It’s undertaken independently by Ipsos MORI, an independent market research agency on behalf of the UK Higher Education Funding Bodies and Regulators, so responses remain anonymous at all times.

The NSS asks questions relating to student experience, and the results are are made available to everyone on university and college websites, UCAS and the Discover Uni website.

For more information, take a look at NSS’ video here.

Why should I take part?

Your feedback is pivotal to the way we run Bloomsbury Institute. We’re committed to providing a memorable and life-affirming experience and the direction this takes is ultimately shaped by what you have to say.

Whether you want to let us know what’s going well, or what areas can be improved, the NSS is the perfect opportunity for your comments.

We listened to your feedback last year and made a number of changes, including:

  • Spreading submission deadlines across a few days to help you manage your time and stress.
  • Where possible, ensuring you have classes over 3 days a week with a maximum 4 hours a day.  We now try our best to give students the same timetable in semester 2 as in semester 1.
  • We made sure that quiet study space is available and advertised throughout the week.
  • Running more Lunchtime Dialogues, hosting guest speakers from various sectors and launching LEE to improve our employability offering.

By completing the NSS you’ll not only be improving the student experience here at Bloomsbury Institute, but you’ll also be helping prospective students choose where and what to study.

How do I claim my Amazon voucher?
