We are thrilled to announce that Bloomsbury Radio will play a pivotal role in this year’s Bloomsbury Festival, broadcasting live behind-the-scenes conversations, interviews, and reports from various events across the festival. For an entire week, our airwaves will be filled with an exciting mix of live performances, expert panel discussions, and interactive workshops, all showcasing the vibrant cultural tapestry that makes Bloomsbury Festival 2024 so special.

Friday, October 18th: Festival Kickoff
Tune in at 2 PM as we kick off with the Live Launch! We’ll dive into the creative process with Michelle Hromin’s Present Tense, followed by Jamboree Presents and The Cabarats. You won’t want to miss AI Symposium and Jam by the Computational Creativity Collective, followed by Philosophy with Compassion at 4 PM. The evening starts with a powerful lineup of performances and discussions, from poetry and dance to thought-provoking talks like I Say Lawyer, You Say… and A Space for Us: Women’s Ways and Missions.

Weekend Highlights
Over the weekend, join us for a diverse range of activities starting with Humanist Bloomsbury: Doers, Dreamers, Placemakers on Saturday, and wrapping up the day with Virtual Worlds: Corals at The Grant Museum. Sunday promises compelling conversations on kindness, creativity, and identity, with standout events like Being Human and Being Kind at 3 PM, and The Patient Soldier at 6 PM.

A Full Week of Bloomsbury Festival Programming
The festival programming continues throughout the week, offering everything from workshops like Shifting Perspectives: Visual Tales of Mental Health to performances such as Attempts on a Birch Tree and I.D.S.T. – Ludo and Jake. Don’t miss the special 26 Connections: 26 Writers sessions across multiple days, offering insight into the creative process behind some of the festival’s most engaging work.
