With over 17 years’ teaching experience (working in Spain, Argentina and the UK), I have also trained teachers of English, as well as working for the British Council as an IELTS examiner. These roles gave me the opportunity to meet people of all ages from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. I have taught both inside the classroom and in-company; aiding IT consultants, lawyers, bankers, and accountants.

My career has also allowed me to deliver teacher development sessions and work on course design; creating curriculums and materials for linguistic development. I have been with the Bloomsbury Institute since the beginning of 2018, working across three Foundation Year modules, while leading on one: Study & Research Skills. In my current role, I offer study support to all students in order to help them reach their potential.

I am interested in how people learn, and the ways in which we can use this information to aid study and develop strategies for overcoming obstacles. I am also keen to explore ways of redeveloping the learning framework so that the discrete capabilities possessed by individuals can be realised and cultivated.
