Home applicants

If you’re a home applicant (Citizen of either the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland) or are exempt from requiring a Student Visa, you can start your application to study with us below.

Application deadlines

The last dates for an application to be submitted by a British or Irish Citizen are as follows:

How the application process works

Step 1

Complete the application form to let us know which course you would like to study and your existing qualifications.

Step 2

Apply for Student Finance as soon as you have submitted your application to avoid delays.

Step 3

You will be offered a place if you meet the entry requirements, or, invited to an Admissions Assessment.

Step 4

Welcome to Bloomsbury Institute! Enrolment and Induction take place the week before your studies begin.

We prioritise your eagerness to learn, not your existing academic success or personal circumstances.

Fees and financial support

Most British and Irish applicants will be able to fund their studies through a Student Loan. Additional financial support, including our travel bursary, may also be available from Bloomsbury Institute throughout your studies.

Do you require a Student Visa?

If you are a British or Irish Citizen, you do not need a Student Visa to study in the UK. Not everyone without British or Irish citizenship will need a Student Visa to study with us though, you are exempt from requiring a Student Visa if any of the following apply:

  • You are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen with settled or pre-settled status in the UK
  • You have indefinite leave to remain in the UK
  • You have the right to work in the UK
  • You have refugee status in the UK.

If none of the above applies to you, then you will need to apply for a Student Visa to study in the UK and should complete this application form to study at Bloomsbury Institute.
