About Global Entrepreneurship Week…

This year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week’s theme is removing barriers and welcoming all.

Global Entrepreneurship Week was first created in 2007 by the UK Government and the Kauffman Foundation in the US.

It has now expanded, building and strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems across borders and boundaries.

During one week every November, thousands of events and competitions around the world, inspire millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and investors.

In 2019, 10 million people across 170+ countries participated in 40,000 events in the world’s largest annual campaign to celebrate and promote entrepreneurship.
