9th Teaching & Learning Conference: Bridging the Inclusivity Gap
Start Time: 9:30 am
End Time: 4:30 pm
Location: Congress Centre, 28 Great Russell Street, London, WC1B 3NG
The conference is open to everyone and tickets are now available. To book your place head over to our Eventbrite page.
The conference theme and title references a popular eBook used here at Bloomsbury Institute, ‘The Inclusivity Gap’ edited by Karisa Krcmar, who we are proud to confirm as one of our keynote speakers. Joan O’Mahoney (Advance HE), is another keynote we look forward to welcoming on the day.
The conference aims to tease out a variety of reflections on what the inclusivity gap means to various audiences, its implications for the HE sector, and what practical measures have been and are being taken to actively bridge the identified gaps.
Themes to be explored include:
- Inclusive curriculum pedagogy
- Inclusive assessment
- Specific learning difficulties
- BAME students in higher education
- Widening access and participation
- Mental health challenges
- Commuter students
- Bridging gaps through the student voice
