Woman smiling

I’m extremely passionate about higher education, having worked in the sector for the last 13 years, at institutions including Middlesex University, the University of Hertfordshire and UCAS.

I have considerable experience spanning various stages of the student journey, including outreach, education liaison, recruitment, marketing and admissions.

I’m an experienced, confident communicator and influencer with a track-record in building positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In my current role as Head of Quality and Compliance, I provide strategic, tactical and operational management of the Quality and Compliance Division, which includes Admissions, Compliance and Quality.

I monitor performance against key performance indicators, as well as overseeing compliance with external regulatory requirements.

Interests

I am passionate about widening participation and raising aspirations of those who would be less likely to apply to Higher Education. Bloomsbury Institute is the perfect fit for me, as we proactively encourage applications from those of all ages and backgrounds and support them throughout their studies to help them succeed.

I am a Trustee of Up on Downs, a parent-run charity organisation which supports families of those with Downs Syndrome. As a mother of a child with Downs Syndrome, I’m keen to ensure he benefits from the same opportunities as everyone else, not least, a good education.
