Accessibility Statement – Bloomsbury Institute London

Accessibility Statement

We want our website to be as accessible as possible so that everyone can easily use it and find, read and understand all the content that we publish.

Accessibility and assistive technology

Everyone should be able to access our site with assistive technology such as Dragon Naturally Speaking, JAWS (Job Access With Speech), NVDA (Non Visual Desktop Access) and ZoomText. You can also use screen magnifiers and your operating system’s speech recognition software.

UserWay

We’ve also installed UserWay across our website – every user can access this by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the corner of most of our webpages. After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a second or two for the accessibility menu to fully load.

Bloomsbury Institute and UserWay strongly believe that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence. UserWay has invested a lot of resources to help make sure websites are easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities.

Accessibility on UserWay

The UserWay Accessibility Widget installed on our website is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. We are committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and the UserWay widget greatly improves our compliance with the guidelines.

Disclaimer

UserWay constantly looks to improve the accessibility of its site and services. This is fueled by a belief we share that it is our moral obligation to allow seamless and accessible use for all.

UserWay continually work to make all pages and content using UserWay fully accessible. That being said, some content may unfortunately not yet be fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found the most appropriate technological solution.
