Bloomsbury Institute is a higher education provider regulated by the Office for Students. We deliver undergraduate degrees in accounting, business and law. The majority of our teaching is delivered at 373-375 Euston Road, Birkbeck University of London.  We currently have c. 80 members of staff and 1,000 students, with plans to progressively increase student numbers to c. 2,000.

We pride ourselves on providing disadvantaged and underrepresented students with access to a transformative higher education experience. We recruit students that have the potential, attitude and aspiration to succeed. This is key to us fulfilling our broader vision of offering students from all backgrounds the opportunity to define and pursue success through education.

We are currently looking for lecturers with experience in teaching Foundation Year students or similar. Experience of widening participation is preferable, as is knowledge of one of the three core subjects (business, law, accountancy). The teaching rate is £42.50 per hour. Regular teaching work is expected from April of this year. There may also be additional work, relating to teaching, that could be conducted remotely.
