I began my career in higher education administration over 25 years ago at the University of London External Programme. I then progressed within various publicly funded and private institutions and held mainly Academic Registrar positions including at Bloomsbury Institute.
Subsequently, I took up the role at Bloomsbury as Student Staff Liaison Manager. I worked very closely with the Student Guild and assisted in its governance and policy creation. I also acted as a Staff Representative for Bloomsbury and attended Board of Directors meetings in this capacity.
My position now at the Institute is leading on Human Resources as People, Talent and Culture Manager.
Interests
At work, I have enjoyed working in both quality assurance and governance areas within higher education. My interest is now focused on HR matters and I am excited to be supporting our staff in this capacity.
Outside of work, I enjoy things like fishing, the cinema, socialising with friends and family and swimming.
