I have worked in the education sector since 2016 with various roles in the FE and HE sectors. At Bloomsbury Institute, I apply the knowledge I have gained over the years to leading the Quality Department. In addition to the role of Head of Quality, I am also a member of the senior management team ensuring effective operational management and leadership throughout the Institute.
I have experience in strategy development and implementation, quality assurance and enhancement, policy development, academic governance, student administration and student engagement, as well as operations management. Across these areas, I have driven excellence in operational service delivery and led change through structured programmes and projects.
As Head of Quality, I am also responsible for the creation and operation of a high-performing cross-functional team at the Institute level, to support both staff and students.
Interests
I have a particular interest in the transformational impact of HE on students’ life and how I can help to make the student experience great while assuring quality and standards.
In my spare time, I enjoy cycling and walking in the countryside with my family and our dog. While the family walks count as leisure, my cycling has a competitive edge to it and challenges my physical limits.
