Bloomsbury Institute is looking to hire Digital Student Ambassadors (DSA) to showcase their student experience through videos, photos, blogs, and more! You’ll represent Bloomsbury Institute online on our social media channels and official website, and connect with prospective students on our Unibuddy platform.
About the role:
You’ll play a vital role in promoting the exceptional teaching and learning at Bloomsbury Institute. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your communication skills, gain valuable work experience, and earn money while studying. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Team and Student Recruitment Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, the official website, and more related to your life as a student, tips, and other university moments
- Be featured in and/or produce short-form video content and blogs
- Participate in Instagram/TikTok livestreams and stories to share your stories and answer questions from prospective students
- Communicate with prospective students via our chat platform (Unibuddy)
- You’ll have the opportunity to attend events on and off campus with our Student Recruitment team, this is paid and is separate to your DSA responsibilities
- Submit photos of campus, events, cafés, or your study setup via Unibuddy or as and when briefed by the Social Media Marketing Executive

Who we’re looking for:
- Current student at Bloomsbury Institute (essential)
Enthusiastic students passionate about Bloomsbury Institute and our values (essential)
- Strong communication skills (essential)
- Comfortable using social media platforms (especially Instagram and TikTok) (desirable)
- A self-starter who can pitch ideas and manage their own timelines
- A creative eye for what makes engaging content- from lighting, to layout, to captioning
- Someone who genuinely wants to make student voices more visible and heard
- Timekeeping and reliability
- Good understanding of social media fundamentals, effect on customer experience and brand perception (desirable)
- Good presentation skills and happy talking to camera (desirable)
- Reliable and prepared to professionally interact with others on behalf of the University (essential)
- Some proven experience in photography, videography and/or blogging. Including editing (Capcut, Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms) (desirable)
Bonus if you:
- Have experience with photography, video editing, or blogging
- Are active in student clubs, events, or community groups
