At Bloomsbury Institute, my role is to lead and teach the Land Law and Conveyancing module on the LLB in Law and Legal Practice.
I practiced as a property Solicitor for several years in London and overseas law firms and government departments before moving voluntarily into higher education. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), qualified teacher (QTS) and a qualified assessor (CAVA).
I am dual-qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales and as a Barrister in Nigeria. I have taught law at various levels to undergraduate and postgraduate home and international students.
Interests
I am interested in comparative law. My interest stems from my dual qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales and as a Barrister in Nigeria. This has given me a first hand exposure to both the common law systems in England and Nigeria. In fact, I am particularly drawn to understanding how different legal systems address similar issues and how legal concepts evolve across various jurisdictions. This has not only deepened my appreciation of the law’s versatility but also enhanced my ability to navigate cross border issues.
