Most of our graduates subsequently follow traditional legal careers as solicitors, barristers, chartered legal executives or paralegals. But many graduates progress in other exciting careers outside of law in sectors such as education, journalism and public relations.
On our Law and Legal Practice degree programmes, academic knowledge is brought to life. You’ll be taught practical legal knowledge to put into real-life practice through unique vocational exposure, such as volunteering at our very own law clinic – Bloomsbury Law Clinic.
Our tutors not only have experience of teaching law, but they also practise (or have practised) law as a Chartered Legal Executive, Solicitor or Barrister.
At the end of your LLB, you’ll be work ready, enabling you to secure highly skilled employment. You’ll also satisfy the CILEx Regulation knowledge and skills education standards, if you seek to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive, and be prepared for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) Part 1 if you seek to qualify as a Solicitor as well as the Barrister’s vocational stage of training if you seek to qualify as a Barrister.
You have the choice to study on our traditional 3-year degree programme or our 2 year accelerated degree programme.
