Head of Communications
I manage the strategic and day-to-day communications at Bloomsbury Institute, communicating our unique offer to students, stakeholders and the wider higher education sector.
Starting at Bloomsbury Institute in mid-2018, I led and managed our re-brand from LSBM to the brand you see today.
I continue to manage our brand and ensure our values, identity and culture is successfully communicated across internal and external channels.
A key focus of my job is raising Bloomsbury Institute’s profile and finding creative ways to reach prospective students. I thoroughly enjoy working for an organisation that allows people access to higher education, no matter their past, and there is nothing I love more than spreading the word about Bloomsbury Institute to people who may have previously faced barriers and set-backs.
I have a degree in English Literature and Art History – after graduating I used my interest in both written and visual content to begin a career in Marketing. My previous roles focused on digital marketing and brand strategy.
My main interests include art and books (as you could probably guess from my degree!) and since lockdown I’ve got into running and gardening.
In my spare time I volunteer as Co-Chair at Blaze – a charity that supports and develops the next generation of creative producers in my hometown.
I’m a big believer in encouraging and empowering those around you and I’m inspired everyday by my family, friends and our students.
