For five years I led student services within the institute, establishing the Centre for Student Engagement, Wellbeing and Success (SEWS) to foster a more holistic approach to student  development. In October 2019 I was appointed to the newly created post of Director of Access and Graduate Outcomes to promote the power of higher education to transform lives and communities, and to support graduates in growing the careers they desire. As part of this work I am in the process of setting up a new radio station within the institute. Outside of Bloomsbury Institute I broadcast on the award winning Maritime Radio FM.

Interests

Outside of work I love London, its history and its literature.  I’m often to be found strolling around making connections between the city’s history and the current built environment.  I’m also a keen karaoke singer and, I’m told, do a mean tribute to Gloria Gaynor.
