Prior to this role, I spent 10 years working on various projects from management information systems to content management systems.

I have over 20 years’ academic experience in the higher education sector holding various posts. I was Head of Programme Development, developing and implementing successful courses accredited by professional bodies on the Accounting degree, Business degree and masters.  I was also a senior lecturer in accounting and finance and an area leader for the accounting department at the University of West London.

I joined Bloomsbury Institute as a lecturer in Law in 2014. That year, I was part of a small team of academics that set up the LLB course. The following year, I became LLB course leader. My main interests include European Union Law, Human Rights and Employment Law. Since 2017, I have been a Senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). I am also a member of the Society of Legal Scholars and the Association of Law Teachers.

Currently I work in the IT department helping to develop the LMS and its processes, user analytics and integrations with MIS.  Prior to this I was eLearning coordinator at an FE college, where developing systems to enhance the student & teacher experience were core responsibilities.  This role combined for the first time my previous experiences in teaching and working in interactive media development.

Starting at Bloomsbury Institute mid-2018, I led and managed our re-brand from LSBM to the brand you see today.

I have a degree in English Literature and Art History – after graduating I used my interest in both written and visual content to begin a career in marketing. My initial roles focused on digital marketing before I then branched out into brand strategy and implementation.

I have worked in Higher Education for the past 16 years within the area of Quality. Previous  to my current role at Bloomsbury Institute, I was a Faculty Quality Manager. I managed a team of four ensuring all faculty quality processes were supported and fulfilled, feeding into institutional Quality Assurance activities.

For the past 3 years I have been engaged in dealing with educational technology and assessing how it can benefit staff and students within the institution, as well as dealing with external resources and troubleshooting queries. Working as part of the Learning Technology Team I have contributed to achieving the eLearning strategy. Being a learning technologist requires that I stay up to date on current and emerging technologies, as well as applications and techniques on how they are applied in the academic environment.
