After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2013, I became a financial inclusion professional. In 2015, I led a financial inclusion and behavioural economics project for the London Housing Financial Inclusion Group, in collaboration with the UK Governments Behavioural Insights team.

Senior Lecturer and Academic Librarian


I have worked in a natural history museum as a fossil preparator, photographer and research assistant and in marketing and student recruitment.  I have also  taught learners ranging from 3-years to 65-years of age in formal and informal environments for 20 years: in a Montessori pre-school, a discovery room in a natural history museum, the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, schools in South Korea, primary and high schools in South Africa and in Bloomsbury Institute.

Dr Melissa Kerr

Senior Lecturer: Business


I have worked as a lecturer and module leader on both undergraduate and postgraduate business course in universities in both Australia and the UK for the past 14 years. My teaching has included change management, HRM, organisational behaviour, strategic management, labour history and research methods. More recently I have been the course leader for the MBA program at Bloomsbury Institute.

Mubashir Hassan Qurashi

Senior Lecturer: Accounting


I am an experienced lecturer, with over 15 years of teaching experience in Accounting and Finance. I taught and acted as module leader for several modules, such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance to undergraduate, postgraduate and ACCA students. I am also involved in generating high-quality lecture material for the learners.

Munizeh Zulfiqar

Quality Executive (Assessment and Secretariat)


I have worked in Higher Education in for that last 3year as an Assessment Officer at Bloomsbury Institute. My role has required me to fulfil all the operational tasks within an academic year in relation to assessments, such as approval of assessments, organisation of Examinations and Module Boards.

Dr Nadia Michail

Disability and Wellbeing Advisor


I am a qualified secondary school teacher and I have worked as a supply teacher in mainstream and special schools in the West Midlands. During my PhD studies I was also an academic support worker for the disability and learning support services at the University of Birmingham. After the completion of my PhD (Dyslexia in HE) I worked as a lecturer at the University of Birmingham (Dyslexia Studies) and later in the University of Loughborough as a Disability Adviser.

Nnamdi O. Madichie

Research Fellow


I am currently Research Fellow at the Bloomsbury Institute. Prior to this, I was the Director of the Centre for Research and  Enterprise at the Institute between 2015 and 2019. I have also previously held senior academic positions across institutions and geographies such as the University of East London (2003-2008), University of Sharjah, UAE (2008-2013), and the Canadian University Dubai (2013-2015).

As a previous student of Bloomsbury Institute graduating from (Hons) Business Management, I had the honour to serve 2 terms as the first Student President.  I then worked as the Academic Administrator for the FY which enabled me to interact with the student population from a spectrum.

I’ve worked as a Lecturer teaching different level of AAT and ACCA Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Reporting, I’ve also worked as an Account manager where I was doing book keeping and compliance.

Slawomir Przemyslaw Grzybek

After my arrival in the UK, I spent the first years working in a private sector in various operational roles. These roles, ranging from quality assurance to managing operations, combined with my parental responsibilities taught me some valuable skills that are employed in my current role at Bloomsbury Institute.
