I’ve worked as a lecturer teaching different levels of AAT and ACCA Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Reporting. I have 2 years experience of teaching Computer Application in Accounting, Taxation & Managerial Finance at Bloomsbury Institute and I have also been the Module Leader of these subjects. After completing my ACCA qualification, I worked as an Account Manager in which I did book-keeping and compliance.

After my arrival in the UK, I spent the first years working in a private sector in various operational roles. These roles, ranging from quality assurance to managing operations, combined with my parental responsibilities taught me some valuable skills that are employed in my current role at Bloomsbury Institute.
Having completed my degree in 2015, I then moved into the education sector, taking up the position of Operations Manager for a Further Education provider.
Exposure to this new environment prompted my interest in quality assurance aspect of Higher Education and led to my application for a role of Quality Administrator at Bloomsbury Institute. I am currently a Quality and Compliance Executive and a Secretary to committees (AC, SMLT, QAEC and others).
Interests
I have a particular interest in the transformational impact of HE on students life and how the perception is altered by the experience. Outside work, I am interested in sports with climbing and cycling being my favourite, travelling and other activities helping me to broaden my knowledge and understanding of the surrounding world.
I am combining personal interests with my parental duties by involving my family in outdoor sport activities and travelling.

I’ve worked in a variety of different fields, from Filing Clerk to Sound Engineering to CCTV Installations to Theatre Technician to IT Support to Film and Theatre Acting and more!
Since 2010 however, I have worked for Bloomsbury Institute, making my way from Receptionist to Estates and Facilities Manager.
I have a qualification in acting. My ethos of “A job is not worth doing, if it is not worth doing well” serves me well and I’m proud to say that the institution has chosen to give me time to believe in the same thing.
Interests
I’m a keen follower of common sense and logic, enjoy long walks along the beach, a myriad of eclectic televisual and auditory stimulations, running around a forest at night hitting people with rubber swords (LARP – feel free to ask), gin tasting and many more oblique interests.
I’m a keen gamer of video, board, RPG or card games. Needless to say, I have an interest in purely lying back and doing absolutely nothing at all, however, who has time for that these days, eh?

I am currently a Senior Lecturer and former Course Leader of BSc Business Computing Systems Topup at Bloomsbury Institute with industry and teaching experience of over 18 years. Prior to this role, I spent 10 years working on various projects from management information systems to content management systems.
I started my career in 2000 as a Software Engineer and later served the key roles of senior software engineer, project manager, operations manager and general manager of operations, prior to becoming director operations in 2007. Where my focus was on customers, innovation, operational-efficiency, and project-management that led to significant company growth. Throughout my career, I helped large number of clients across a broad range of businesses to use IT more effectively, improve process efficiency, and make better decisions by turning business data into meaningful information. I joined Bloomsbury Institute in 2012, bringing around 15 years of industrial experience to my role with the institution. In my career, I designed various internship-programs and taught several modules in computing and business-management.

For me, the love of innovative-technologies was instantaneous and everlasting. I turned my passion into a career as Director Operations, started as a software engineer back in 2000. In these roles, I’ve had the opportunity to do what I love while also creating IT solutions that have changed the way businesses manage data and information in their operations. I created the first (multilingual SQL designer) in 2001 for one of the largest hardware producers in the world. My research areas of interest are Technology Innovation, Emerging Technologies, Resource Management, Operational Efficiency and Project Management. In addition to reading and research, I like various sports like tennis, football, cricket, table-tennis, cycling.

I joined Bloomsbury Institute as a Lecturer in Business. I am a part of the team for TDAP process, furthermore also, developing approximation for the modules around themes of Globalisation and International Business within Bloomsbury Business Department.
Before joining Bloomsbury Institute, I held a teaching post at School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of for about six years. I have taught Economics and Business modules to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate students during the last ten years in the UK. Throughout my academic career, I have been extensively involved in supervising and mentoring postgrads and research students.
In addition to teaching posts, my professional involvement revolves around organising and delivering workshops for STATA, Bloomberg, EIKON, scientific writing for researchers & postgraduate students at various levels in the UK research and academic sector. I have been involved in many conferences and workshop organising committees.
At the early stage career, I began as a Lecturer in Macroeconomics and Business in 2007. I have also been part of a project by The World Bank Educational Awareness Group, co-ventured with Government of Punjab regarding awareness of education in rural catchment areas around Lahore, Pakistan in 2007. I have also been fortunate to work with eradication project with Government of Punjab, Asian Development Bank, Lahore, Pakistan in 2006.

My professional interest includes reviewing for well-known academic Journals. Research & academic interests have been mainly focused on issues regarding international trade, regional trade policies, institutional framework, capital inflows, political economy and economic development. I investigated and analysed different aspects of international trade and business at both the macro and regional levels. As well as, trade and financial openness issues, research also includes issues connected with competitiveness, development, and lack of institutional framework. I have also carried out a substantial amount of work on various aspects of regional trade and trade agreements.
Recently, during specialisation in Learning and Teaching in pedagogical practices, I have developed an interest in small group teaching and large group teachings. My pedagogical interest also focuses on finding and improving effective methods of providing interactive and effective feedback to students at various levels.
I also enjoy travelling & exploring different cultures and heritage music across different cities and regions. I also try to make some time for painting, exploring museums and history, trekking, writing and reading.

Currently I work in the IT department helping to develop the LMS and its processes, user analytics and integrations with MIS. Prior to this I was eLearning coordinator at an FE college, where developing systems to enhance the student & teacher experience were core responsibilities. This role combined for the first time my previous experiences in teaching and working in interactive media development.
Interests
Interested in optimizing the use of existing technologies but also in developing new technologies. Current areas of interest include facilitating personalisation, and insightful personal development planning.
To relax, I enjoy getting out to the countryside and coasts with family and friends to walk and cycle. Lying in my garden hammock is another favourite pastime.

I manage the day-to-day and strategic communications at Bloomsbury Institute, communicating our unique offer to students, stakeholders and the wider higher education sector.
Starting at Bloomsbury Institute in mid-2018, I led and managed our re-brand from LSBM to the brand you see today.
I continue to manage our brand and ensure our culture, identity and value proposition is successfully communicated across internal and external channels.
I have a degree in English Literature and Art History – after graduating I used my interest in both written and visual content to begin a career in marketing. My previous roles focused on digital marketing and brand strategy.

My main interests include art and books (as you could probably guess from my degree!).
In my spare time I volunteer as Co-Chair at Blaze – a charity that supports and develops the next generation of creative producers in my hometown.

I lead the Estates and Facilities team here at Bloomsbury Institute – a team that is enthusiastic, hardworking and inspired by our values and goals. We are all here to support staff and students by providing an exceptional environment where they can work and study to reach their full potential.
My experience at Bloomsbury Institute started 9 years ago as a Business and Management student. During my studies I had the opportunity to work on student consultancy projects to reach out to international students. After this, I discovered my passion for engaging with students and supporting them in choosing their courses.
I have visited and assisted students from different communities in different parts of the country and have attended numerous educational exhibitions. After 6 years working in the Student Recruitment and Marketing Department here at Bloomsbury Institute, I moved to the Estates and Facilities department, exploring a new side of our Institute.

As a Lecturer on the Foundation Year programme, I teach all four modules on offer and enjoy guiding many of our students through this important year on their academic journey.
I am also an Introduction to Business module leader, a role which I relish as it involves designing engaging materials and activities for seminars and workshops, lecturing, and working closely with a team of lecturers to ensure the best learning outcomes for the students.
Before joining Bloomsbury Institute, I worked at other UK higher education institutions including University of Reading, University of Birmingham, University of Hull and Harper Adams University. I taught English for Academic Purposes, most often through the medium of Business, to BSc, MSc, MBA or PhD level students from a wide variety of countries, supporting them to achieve highly in the UK higher education context.

I am strong believer in lifelong learning and I am excited to be part of an institution that encourages access to higher education for students from a diversity of backgrounds. I love to facilitate student interaction and active learning in the micro-universe of our classes. In fact, finding ways to balance contributions from quieter and more assertive students has become an interest recently.
Other areas of interest are technology-enhanced learning and the design of lessons and materials which enhance students’ critical thinking, independent discussion and reflection skills.

My role Academic Administrator as is to make sure that all Business students are supported throughout their journey with us and act as a first point of contact.
I joined Bloomsbury Institute in 2014 as a student, completing an HND in Business and Management in 2016 and graduating from (Hons) in Business and Management in 2017. Consequently, I decided to carry on my postgraduate studies at Bloomsbury Institute, completing an MBA and graduating in November 2018. Being a previous student and MBA STAR representative at Bloomsbury Institute gave me the opportunity to improve my knowledge and skills and deal with different situations with academics. I received an award for ‘Contribution to Academic Life at Bloomsbury Institute’ in May 2018.
During my studies I worked as a volunteer at Cancer Research UK in 2015. This role allowed me to improve my communication skills and provided an excellent customer service, which helped me to conduct my previous job as Admissions Executive and my current role as Academic Administrator.
Interests
My interests vary from technology to fashion, music and sports. I have a strong interest in everything related to digital such as artificial intelligence, digital marketing, social media and data analytics. I played basketball for 10 years, reaching high levels in the top league back in Florence (Italy). I also love singing and dancing.
