Victoria has spent her entire professional career working within the Higher Education Sector. She currently leads on the delivery of our Student Support Schemes, including PAL & Peer Mentoring. She works with our amazing SEWS Team to carry out interventions for student attendance and engagement. One key priority she works on is the development, delivery and enhancement of our pastoral care, which is crucial to meet the needs of our ever-changing student body.
“An amazing part of the role, and the whole SEWS department is that we welcome students on their first days at the institute as we lead on Inductions for all new students, to then supporting them through their years at Bloomsbury, to then celebrating their successes by organising and hosting their Bloomsbury Graduation! It is amazing to be in this role to see and support students through their whole study life cycle.”
Interests
With her past studies and past career experience, her passions are very focused on the student experience and a student’s sense of belonging towards their place of learning. She has a strong passion for equality and ensuring underrepresented people are provided with opportunities accessible to them. In the future she would very much like to build her charity work and focus on young people, helping them access opportunities that have not before been accessible. She loves nature and being outside, being active, all whilst trying lots of new food. A long country dog walk and a Sunday Roast is her favorite day!Â
