Tracey Boston

I am the Head of Operations and Strategic Planning at Bloomsbury Institute and I have 29 years of experience in the UK education sector and have worked at nine institutions, leading professional services teams across Academic Registry, School and Departmental Administration, Student Services, IT Services, International Affairs, Continuous Improvement, Timetabling, Student Conduct and Appeals and Academic Services.

My senior management responsibilities have been wide and diverse, covering the student journey from admission to graduation, including student services, wellbeing, accommodation, international exchanges programmes, complaints and appeals. It has also included statutory returns, management information and strategic planning and systems investigation.

I have also been involved in cross-organisational business improvement and major change management programmes at six HEI’s and held consultant roles to executive leaders at Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, COO and CIO level to advise on organisational and business improvement and change.

Interests

I am passionate about delivering quality service provision in education that is driven by the needs of users. Outside of work, you can usually find me at the gym. My training incorporates strength work with flexibility and restorative practice- weights, yoga, meditation.
