In my role as a Disability and Wellbeing Advisor, I am responsible for ensuring that students are supported with anything wellbeing or disability related. Our team provide one-to-one sessions, advice, and wellbeing workshops.
My career’s been eclectic, including prop making, teaching, and making cocktails. I’m an SpLD assessor and specialist tutor with over ten years of experience in adult education and 7 years within university Disability & Mental Health teams. I’m currently studying a BACP Counselling course.
Interests
I’m a keen supporter of human rights, promoting equality and challenging discrimination in my professional and personal life. I recently developed a love of cooking and am reluctantly trying to develop a love for exercise.
