Lydia Hesketh

I manage the strategic and day-to-day communications at Bloomsbury Institute, communicating our unique offer to students, stakeholders and the wider higher education sector.

Starting at Bloomsbury Institute in mid-2018, I led and managed our re-brand from LSBM to the brand you see today.

I continue to manage our brand and ensure our values, identity and culture is successfully communicated across internal and external channels.

A key focus of my job is raising Bloomsbury Institute’s profile. I thoroughly enjoy working for an organisation that allows people access to higher education, no matter their past, and there is nothing I love more than spreading the word about Bloomsbury Institute to people who may have previously faced barriers and set-backs.

I have a degree in English Literature and Art History – after graduating I used my interest in both written and visual content to begin a career in Marketing. My previous roles focused on digital marketing and brand strategy.

My main interests lie in art and books (as you could probably guess from my degree!). I also love the outdoors – running, gardening and exploring Yorkshire with my dog.
